Hi, I'm back! I have been offline because I had an operation and didn't feel too god because I picked up an infection afterwards. Also, found out that when I had my gallbladder out, they spilled a load of the stones in my abdominal cavity as the bladder split when they removed it.
Confused now as one consultant says leave them if they're not causing problems, and one says they're dangerous and must come out!!
They are all sitting around my uterus area, and look like someone's tipped a can of sweet corn around there!
Anyone know whether gall stones are dangerous when they're in the abdominal cavity? They're not in the bile duct area, they're free floating in the abdomen. What I am worried about is them getting attached to organs/ducts, as apparently that is very dangerous and can mean you need emergency surgery, and to me it seems silly to leave them in there if there's the likelihood they could cause life threatening problems.
What do you guys think?!
