Hi A.T. Watchdogs! So my clinic in Seattle has what is called the "Benzo Protocol". This is how it works: If you get a benzodiazepine positive UA, your dose automatically gets dropped 10%, then 5mg per week until you leave a benzodiazepine negative UA. After 4 consecutive benzodiazepine negative UA's, you are allowed to see the clinic doctor in order to go back up to what your dose was before the "Benzo Protocol" kicked in and lowered your dose. Before my benzo positive UA, my dose was at 75mg (my clinic only offers the cherry flavored Mallinckrodt Methadose Oral Concentrate 10 mg/mL), which held me throughout the day just fine. Now being at 33mg, I have been using heroin (and FEELING it) to compensate for my low dose. Just one more benzo clean UA and I can go back to 75mg. Has anybody out there ever heard of a similar type of "Benzo Protocol" aimed at lowering your dose to an uncomfortable level? Or is my clinic the only one doing this? Thanks in advance ~ thelung
